MAN was I right or what, this really makes me smile.. Today marks my •6 years here• in San Diego at Atos chasing a dream. Sometimes it’s hard to believe how much time has gone by. In these 6 years I have been through hell and back. But you know what, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. To be able to look back and say “wow, look at everything I’ve overcome” or “wow, I’ve lived moments that were literally just dreams long ago.” is an indescribable feeling. I came here as a broke white belt with big dreams.. and now I’m a broke brown belt living my dreams 😂 doesn’t stop here y’all. I can’t thank everyone who’s helped me along the way enough, love you guys. CHEERS to more years n lesson here and more goals reached. 🙏🏼❤️ ~”Thank God I didn’t quit” 😉

Today was my first day at the ADCC camp/competition class.. and wouldn’t ya know it, I get shark tanked 🦈 . . In all honesty it broke me mentally in the first half. I let my mind get the best of me. I kept lying to myself and telling myself that I couldn’t keep going. But my teammates were there to keep pushing me. Encouraging me and lifting me up when I was down (literally) All I could think about was how I didn’t ever want to feel like that again. I proceeded to wipe my tears and came back with a different mentality the second half, and it got me through the brutal rounds the rest of training. I learned a lot today about myself mentally. And I gotta say I have some amazing teammates, thank you for pushing me today. Together we are stronger 🛡⚔️ #MindOverMatter

Can we talk about how genuinely good it feels to accomplish a goal?! Even if it’s a small one ✔️ Progress is happening guys, slowly but surely! Last night was my first time squatting 135 (I’m 118lbs so it’s a little over 114% of my body weight) I was aiming to hit atleast 6 reps then hit 8 and josh was ready to rack it but we pushed out two more reps. I’m kinda stoked to the see improvement!! Not perfect but definitely a step forward. Happy Tuesday y’all!! Smile 😃

I got a new toy! Speed roooope. Maybe it’s an okay old school way of conditioning, I used to always see my brother and the other wrestlers jumping rope back in the day, but I’m bringing it back 🙌🏼 I’ve heard jumping rope is good for cardio, agility, coordination, and explosiveness. (Much more I’m sure) . . this is my first time trying it and I definitely suck at this now but it’s so humbling lol. The best part of being bad at something is knowing you can become good at it if you keep persisting. . . I’ll be incorporating this before and after workouts, we’ll see what this does 🦘 #SpeedRopeWhitebelt #PostLiftJumps
