A day off in Houston where we drank beer and played pool all day... Looks like we will be back Tejas, in Fort Worth at @magnoliamotorlounge December Friday the 13th. The mother the father and the holy Skynyrd Amen. Photo: @crawforddenimandvintage #rocknrollhonkytonklife
So many sacrifices - Not enough credit. I’m a proud daughter of a two-tour Vietnam vet @ronaldschacher, and proud granddaughter of two WWII vets; there are no words to describe how grateful I am to them, and to each and every brave man and woman who serves, sacrifices, and bleeds for my freedom. Thank you, and thank you to your families who also make sacrifices not having you around. Forever in debt. Forever grateful. Thank you for your service. 🙏🏼🇺🇸 #veteransday #veterans
Today is Veterans Day, the day to honor those men and women who have walked in shoes like these while serving in the United States Armed Forces. ⭐️ While we may debate the rights (and wrongs) of free speech, let us maintain respect for those who who have served and their willingness to fight to uphold our right to free speech.⭐️ It is only by listening with open hearts and minds, and speaking kindly that we can communicate our differences constructively.⭐️ Note: As always, this is not political commentary. There are plenty of other places for that on the Internet. This essay, like all of my essays, is about: Making the world a better place by focusing on what we can each improve upon in ourselves because I believe this is the pathway to peace.✨ I’m @DianGriesel aka @SilverDisobedience the author of The Silver Disobedience Playbook ✨ I’m a Perception Analyst who shares my Daily Meditations for other Ageless, Passionate & Curious People. ✨ PS: IF you want to keep seeing my posts, the ONLY way you can be that’s going to happen is by visiting my Instagram or Facebook page and liking what you see and read — or going directly to my website SD.Rocks Instagram does not show us all the posts of all the people we follow! ✨
Words cannot express my gratitude for all those that serve our country ❤️🇺🇸 . • Last night we stumbled upon a group of #NYC & #Chicago Firefighters who have been taking a #VeteransDay trip to @tpcsawgrass every year since 9/11. I was so proud to hear their stories of bravery on a day when their country was in need❤️ • Everyday I am proud to be an American and am humbled to be allowed to enjoy the sport I love and represent organizations like @foldsofhonor by wearing @volitionamerica for @pumagolf 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
This condition rarity 1804 Half Cent leaves us stunned. Most people that are new to the hobby ask how coins can remain in such good condition, even after 215 years. In this case, we agree with that sentiment. Graded by @pcgscoin as MS-65+ BN, we expect this coin to easily find itself a new home to a collector with a keen eye.
📸: Just Jared/Amy Sussman/E! Entertainment/NBCU Photo Bank
My Father the Hero🇺🇸 He tends to be ultra-private(if you only knew his training and experience, you’d realize why). Taking the time to listen to his stories has made me understand him and what has shaped his life. I’m incredibly proud!❤️ #veteransday #veteransupport #myfatherthehero PC: Amanda Crean
In Christ alone, my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This corner stone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace When fear is stripped and striving cease My comforter, my all in all! Here in the love of Christ I stand!!!
This post of throwbacks is in celebration of the marine corps birthday and Veterans Day tomorrow.❤️ - All the goodbyes. All the tears. All the heartache, the ups and downs, and all the dang the fears. All the weeks, months, and sometimes what felt like years a part. The last several years together while Zach was serving brought a lot of hardship, but also a lot of lessons, growth, love, and understanding. His service will always be why we met, part of our story of our marriage, what formed and built us, what almost broke us, what rebuilt us stronger, what made us grow to where we are today, and the story we get to tell for years to come. A couple months ago that chapter closed for us, and the transition has been nothing short of hard as heck, but this new chapter is such a good one, with a lot less goodbyes and loneliness. But part of me feels so deeply connected to the military spouse community and military lifestyle and probably always will.
