I haven’t stopped thinking about the whales I saw with @kintravel and @action4ifaw for one second since our trip to Provincetown. 😭💙 Our cottage located in the heart Provincetown was equipped with personal bikes, colorful breakfasts, and views. We dove deep into delicious oyster shacks, local hideaways, and surprise picnics. And left with a heart full of impact, learning from the heroes that assist with mass-strandings and entanglements for over 700 miles off the coastline of Massachusetts. There’s a few spots left, so make sure you grab this experience for yourself @ kin.travel/summerhouse 🙏🏼✨ #KinTravel #IFAW
Our Culinary Director-at-Large @justinchapple thinks that the wedge is one of the best culinary inventions of all time, and we don't disagree. Tap the link in our bio for some of our favorite versions of the steak house staple. 📷: @justinchapple
On September 14, after ten years writing our story together, I married my love Macey Allison Lavoie on the beach in Provincetown surrounded by the love of our chosen families. 🌈 One of my favorite moments from that day is when we went into the Provincetown Public Library before the ceremony to exchange letters. To get there, we walked through downtown Provincetown where the Book Festival was happening and were asked if the library could take a photo of us for their Instagram (@provincetownlib). 📖 When I read Macey’s letter to me for our wedding day, I felt so loved. Before we even started going out, I promised myself that if I was lucky enough to keep having her in my life, I would never take it for granted. I would tell her I love her every day, would go on the porch together under the full moon on our wedding eve and dance to our song. That I would run out onto the beach with her for a kiss, or hold her in any way she needs it when she’s sad.💜 I am in love with my best friend, and I can’t wait to keep writing our story together.🌈 #PutLoveInLavoie 📷: @melissavrphotography Coordinator: @contagiousevents Venue: @onlyatthecrown Dresses: Sew Maggie Jean and @sophiatolli @the_accidental_artist Crowns: @thefawnandthesparrow @sweetchestnutdesigns Officiant: @sarah_josephinee Logo and Second Skirt Design: @emeryallardsmith Book Bouquets: @tpgdesigns Jewelry: @brilliantearth @wlgmetalcouture @a_wolf_and_i Decor: @birdandbookshop @mylittledesignco Photo Booth: @poseyphotos [I am outside with my wife Macey in front of a decorative sign for Tim’s Used Books that’s covered in vines. Today marks the 6 month anniversary since my parents moved to NYC. To say that having them here has changed my life in an understatement. We New Yorkers live an extremely selfish lifestyle where our calendar is filled with things that only matter to us, we rarely have a family event or do things just to support others. I didn’t realize this till I got them here. The two things I’ve learned from this is: -Prioritize time with your family & loved ones. If they live somewhere else, go visit them more often -Whenever you’re not spending time with your loved ones, make sure you’re working your ass off and chasing the goals you came to accomplish here. Don’t get lost in all the noise this city brings. Have fun but get. It. Done.
