Apple has a backup plan if the U.S.-China trade war gets out of hand.
@oyangjo, please reread my comment. I am highlighting the potential of the Chinese market. People need to take a step back and think about the gains. Don't rush to conclusion!
@helenaghanem read carefully
Comprehend the comment before you come to a conclusion. My comment is highlighting the potential of the Chinese market. No where did I write China is going to buy iPhones. The hypothesis of 30% is nearly 400 million Chinese, that's hugh. This is what I want people to think about. I believe the Chinese have nothing to lose in this iPhone saga.
@daweiyg Foxconn is a Taiwanese company.
@oyangjo Same thing made in china and Chinese made it so if they move the production to India its gonna be Chinese tools and made in china lol
Apple is always one step ahead of the game!
@highness_dubai That would be easy for them, as their prices are already so high
@lesliebona True sir, you are right! China is an ecosystem in itself
Cost of production for an iPhone is the same as Huawei but I'm guessing the difference is in the software hence the reason why the market demands iPhones more as oppose to Samsung.
Trump keeps winning, MAGA!
What do you expect from a businessman response to such a question?
Yes, that's true, apple can just move somewhere the workers are paid 1.50 dollars or less a day like India or the Phillipines so that a phone that costs 170 - 210 USDs to produce can be sold 5x or 8x it's original price
