Three years ago, we started a hospitality group that focused on recreating fun, elevated takes on Americana classics and would make kale salads feel like the last kid to get picked in dodgeball. Three states, three cities, and seven restaurant concepts later, we’re excited to announce that J. Fall Group has been acquired by the lovely people at K2 Restaurants. It’s been a life changing last few years with more ups and downs than my Instagram would ever admit. We’ve adopted the hardest working and most loyal family along the way and I am forever grateful and proud of everyone’s blood, sweat and tears that helped turn our vision into a reality. I’ve been in hospitality my whole life and the love and passion in our industry is inexplicable. The dance, the experience, the sound a restaurant makes when it’s breathing with people, the sound of plates breaking, the Yelp reviews that make you want to do unthinkable things and the high you get from opening your doors to a long line of people will make you feel part masochist part superhero. I’ve always seen food as a form of self expression that allows us to tell a story when inviting people into our homes. We are forever grateful for all the patrons that have supported us enough to keep those doors open for years and look forward to continuing to serve more people for years to come. I’ll be remaining as creative director for J. Fall Group for the next year and could not be more excited to see our baby turn into an adult.
