There will always be work and distractions...but when your child wants you to stop and listen to them ,you make the time ..they are only little once and it's important to listen to them..it's always 'Give and Take' if you listen to them then your kid will listen to you more .. I just realised why you should really listen to your child no matter how busy you are.. Happened with me when my 4 year old replied to me -" I will also not listen to you ..see you are not listening to me ".
What's important when you communicate with your child ✔️ Give your child your complete attention ✔️ Let your child finish talking and then respond ✔️ Take them out ,make them comfortable and hear them out because for your kid you're the only role model ..they follow more what we do and what we advice . ✔️Talk about everyday things and repeat what they says ..let your child know that you are listening ✔️ Every day stories are a perfect way to inspire kids .
